ARMSTAR is a customizable self-defense system designed to be comfortably secured to the wearer's arm, allowing for hands-free usage and making it virtually impossible to be seized or dropped during altercations. Always connected, the ARMSTAR captures, saves, and transmits AES secured data packages for both 4K video and HD audio streams.
Designed for the protective services, including the military, municipal police force employees, and private security groups, ARMSTAR’s operating system seamlessly integrates audio/visual recording, vital signs monitor, OLED CAP touch display, Infrared Rangefinder, Next Generation 911, and much more. ARMSTAR also serves as an encrypted communications device, allowing for real-time orders from command and increased in-the-field situational awareness among all team members.
Perhaps most importantly, in the wake of senseless deaths like George Floyd, Michael Brown, and several other high-profile incidents, ARMSTAR is also a powerful evidence gathering tool. By recording audio and video accounts of all interactions (including effectively documenting crime scenes, identifying assailants, and increasing transparency of field altercations), ARMSTAR's forensic capability is another step forward in law enforcement's efforts to regain the trust of the public.
ARMSTAR's open API supports the integration of a vast array of 3rd party software and services. The consolidated UX can access everything from private sector security apps to defense battlefield and command communication platforms at the push of a button. Each ARMSTAR chassis is modular by design and can be configured to fit the agency's specific needs.
ARMSTAR units come in three models. The Basic tier targets the needs of private security guards and low threat protective service employees. This version is stripped of many of the tactical and defensive components, instead prioritizing data collection, situational awareness, and Conductive Electrical Weapon (CEW).
The Advanced tier solves for the needs of Law Enforcement and Correctional Officers. The interface's core functionality remains a critical component, with many tactical features added to aid in command and control vital sign monitoring of the user.
Finally, the Tactical tier is custom-built with state-of-the-art technologies for agencies, military branches, and government employees based on individualized specifications and requirements. Examples of these technologies include laser range-finders, satellite data-links, laser dazzlers, chemical sensors, bomb detection, and drone control.
